Context: Apple Newsroom, "Siri AI is available in more languages starting today" (26 Oct 2026), announcing that the 27.2 software updates add Siri AI in French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish. "The end of the year" is the end of 2026. Siri AI itself is labelled beta and, per the same release, is currently unavailable in the EU on iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. How we judge it
Our interpretation: kept if by 31 Dec 2026 Siri AI can be used with the device and Siri language set to each of Chinese (Traditional), Norwegian, Turkish and Vietnamese in a generally released Apple software update (Siri AI's own beta label is fine; developer or public betas of the operating system do not count), as shown by Apple's newsroom, release notes or feature-availability page, or credible reporting. Partly kept if at least one but not all four languages are available by then. Broken if none is.
