Context: Google Cloud blog post "Google Cloud and NVIDIA expand co-engineering collaboration to scale infrastructure for the agentic era" by Mark Lohmeyer (VP & GM, AI & Computing Infrastructure) and Ankur Mehrotra, 21 Oct 2026, published for NVIDIA GTC Berlin 2026. The sentence follows the announcement of "A5X instances based on NVIDIA Vera Rubin platform", bare-metal instances using NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72 racks; "next month" is November 2026. NVIDIA's blog the same day: "General availability of the instances is coming next month, with planned expansion of availability to Europe". The post also says Virgo Network will let clusters scale "up to 960,000 Rubin GPUs across multi-site deployments" (not graded here). How we judge it

Our interpretation: kept if by 30 Nov 2026 Google Cloud makes A5X (NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72) instances generally available (GA) to customers in at least one Google Cloud region, as shown by a Google Cloud announcement, release notes or documentation, or credible reporting. Preview, private preview, early access or single-customer access does not count. Broken if A5X is not GA anywhere by 30 Nov 2026. The planned European/EMEA expansion is not required.
