Tencent to release Hy4 model weights and system cards in the coming days after 4 Nov 2026
“Tencent Hy plans to release model weights and system cards in the coming days”
Context: From Tencent's own 4 Nov 2026 release announcing Hy4 (770B-parameter Hunyuan model with vision and computer-use). The same release says Hy4 is available via Tencent Cloud TokenHub, WorkBuddy, CodeBuddy and third-party APIs, and that "Tencent Hy plans to release model weights and system cards in the coming days". Unlike Hy4 Preview (Aug 2026), which shipped Apache 2.0 weights the same day, the GA Hy4 weights were not published on 4 Nov (Hugging Face still shows tencent/Hy4-preview; no public tencent/Hy4 GA repo as of 5 Nov). "Coming days" from 4 Nov is interpreted here as by 18 Nov 2026 (two weeks). Sources: (1) Tencent.com release, 4 Nov 2026 (primary); (2) SiliconANGLE, 4 Nov 2026; (3) ByteFwd; (4) Flash24; (5) Business Day (South Africa); (6) Temperature2 / Neural Brew reporting that weights remain unpublished.
How we judge it
Our interpretation: kept if by 18 Nov 2026 Tencent (or the official Hunyuan/Hy org) has published downloadable Hy4 GA model weights (full or MoE expert shards sufficient to run the model) on Hugging Face, GitHub or an equivalent public host, together with a system card or equivalent safety/model card, as shown by the repo/card itself. Partly kept if the weights are public by that date without a system card, or if both appear by 2 Dec 2026 (four weeks). Broken if neither public Hy4 GA weights nor a system card is available by 18 Nov 2026. Hy4 Preview weights already published in August do not count.
