Broadcom AI semiconductor revenue to double to about $115 billion in fiscal 2027
“In 2027, we have secured the supply to again double AI revenue to approximately $115 billion. Our demand actually exceeds this outlook, and we will work to improve supply.”
Context: Broadcom CEO Hock Tan's prepared remarks on the Q3 fiscal 2026 earnings call, 2 Sep 2026 (transcript published by The Motley Fool). "2027" is Broadcom's fiscal 2027, which ends around 31 Oct 2027. On the call Broadcom expected fiscal 2026 AI revenue of $58 billion. CNBC reported the same day that Tan updated his guide to $115 billion for fiscal 2027, "a figure that is constrained by supply"; Bloomberg (via The Straits Times) and TrendForce reported the same numbers.
How we judge it
Our interpretation: correct if the AI semiconductor revenue Broadcom reports for fiscal 2027 (in its Q4 FY2027 results, normally out in December) is at least $109 billion (within 5% of $115 billion, or higher); partly if it is $95 billion to under $109 billion; wrong if under $95 billion. If Broadcom stops breaking out AI revenue, its closest comparable disclosure is used.
